Welcome to the Nashua PAL Force Community

Nashua PAL FORCE was founded in 2004 with the purpose of providing the greatest number of youth with the highest level of competition in the sport of football and spirit.

The NPF Spirit Program is one of the tops in the state and has captured 25 state, regional and national championships over the last seven years. Our Spirit Program serves nearly 100 youth from across the city ages of 5 through 15.

The NPF Football Program is one of the largest in the state and is recognized for fielding teams at nearly every level of competition and for seven state championships over the last seven years.  Our Football Program serves over 175 youth from across the city from pre-kindergarten through the 8th grade.

The NPF Volunteers are the best in the state with over 60 dedicated and knowledgeable coaches, 20 year-round board members, 12 team moms and hundreds of parents manning concession stands, down markers, car washes and car pools.  Our volunteers dedicate over 20,000 hours annually to our football and spirit programs.

All combined the NPF Football & Spirit Community represents the energy, passion and spirit of a winning and fun organization that benefits the kids across Nashua.

NPF HISTORY

In 1989 the Nashua Police Athletic League, PAL, was founded with the mission to create a positive attitude between the children of Nashua and the members of the Nashua Police Department through sponsored sports, activities and enrichment programs. PAL succeeds in their mission by setting goals such as the following:
  • Target area youth for PAL programs who live in "at risk" neighborhoods
  • Build friendship and trust among police officers and city youth by providing opportunities to interact in positive environments such as sports, activities and enrichment programs
  • Provide opportunities for all youth to participate in PAL programs by providing them at no cost
  • Promote health, fitness and education while instilling the values of good character
  • Reduce and eliminate substance abuse and other juvenile delinquent behavior

Since it's inception in 1989, PAL has grown to support programs such as boxing, cross country, street hockey, a community center and of course, football and spirit.

In 2004 PAL founded the Nashua PAL FORCE Football and Spirit programs.  The mission of NPF is to promote a football and spirit program for the city of Nashua.  Since it's inception NPF has been one of the largest and most successful football and spirit programs in the state boasting nearly 100 cheerleaders and over 175 football players while winning 21 state, regional and national championships. NPF is supported by over 60 dedicated and knowledgeable coaches, 20 year-round board members, 12 team moms and hundreds of parents manning concession stands, down markers, car washes and car pools.  Our volunteers dedicate over 20,000 hours annually to our football and spirit programs.

In 2010 NPF extended its reach as a football program all the way into pre-kinderten schools across Nashua by establishing a flag football program.  In the teams inaugural season they landed a state title behind the 23 youngest footballers in NPF history.

NPFs' purpose is to provide the greatest number of youth with the highest level of competition in the sport of football and spirit.

NPF principles are to play right, play fair, play hard, play committed, play with enthusiasm and to always honor the game.

NPF building blocks are our path to achieving our purpose while living our principles.
Coaching - Community - Commitment - Consistency - Communication - Competitiveness

Nashua PAL FORCE is an organization that lives and breathes youth sports 365 days a year.  The NPF Football & Spirit Community represents the energy, passion and spirit of a winning and fun organization that benefits the youth across Nashua.

NPF In The Community

As a volunteer organization, the Nashua PAL FORCE relies on the community to support the football and spirit program.  Our volunteer coaches, board members, team moms and parents devote over 20,000 hours annually to our program.

In turn, the NPF office of public & community relations reaches out to the community to support youth across Nashua.  Most recently the volunteers of NPF have been involved in the community discussing and driving the benefits of exercise for today's youth.  Recent events that NPF has participated in:

  • YMCA Grand Opening
  • Greeley Park Fun Days
  • YMCA Healthy Kids Fair
  • St. Chris Health Run
  • PAL Youth Safe Haven Outreach
  • Elm Street Middle School Outreach
  • Pennichuck Middle School Outreach
  • Memorial Day Parade

In January 2011, a group of board members and coaches sat around a table at Peddler's Daughter in Nashua and crafted a plan that has become known as Project OUTREACH 350. The purpose of this program is to promote football and spirit across Nashua and to increase the participation level to 350 youth.  In 2009, NPF had 203 participants which grew to 236 in 2010.  Our goal for the 2011 season is 285 growing to 350 in future years.

NPF also strives to support our other affiliated programs that are part of the Police Athletic League.  Most recently we participated in the PAL Spelling Bee and the PAL Sports Dinner to benefit the Youth Safe Haven.  When PAL, NPF and people from across the city of Nashua come together good things are going to happen.
